Staff Nurse Open Day

Are you looking for an exciting challenge and an opportunity to gain experience in the Stroke and Neuro rehabilitation care in a friendly Community Healthcare trust?

We are now actively recruiting high quality clinical professionals with commitment and compassion to make a real difference and to fill a number of roles to help keep the communities we serve healthy, safe and supported. We are proud of the quality of our community services and we want the right people to help us maintain that standard of care delivery.

Ward 8, Moseley Hall Hospital is a 28 bedded ward which provides rehabilitation services for both the Stroke survivors and individuals with Neurological conditions. It is a 24 hour service and offers a varied nursing experience and training opportunities.

Ward 9, Inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Moseley Hall Hospital specialises in caring for patients over the age of 16 with a complex variety of brain injuries. This includes neurological conditions such as, traumatic and non- traumatic brain injuries as well as non-traumatic spinal cord injuries. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Unit and contribute in the specialist, complex care and support of these Neurological patients. We strive to deliver high standards of care to our patients therefore all candidates will be expected to learn advanced neurological skills including tracheostomy care and challenging behavioural management.

Full time and part time hours are available and staff will be expected to work across 7 days and to participate in shift work which will include: early shifts, late shifts, nights and long days.

In return, all successful candidates will be offered a package of an induction, mandatory training and all Essential to Role training and an opportunity to rotate through the specialist areas in order to gain further knowledge and experience. We also offer a bespoke professional development programme for all of our staff and have a track record of providing an excellent preceptorship programme for all newly qualified nurses.
