Newly Qualified Nurse Open Day

Are you qualifying as a Registered Nurse in September 2019?
We are now accepting applications from Student Nurses who are due to qualify around September 2019 to work in a variety of clinical areas at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital or Cheltenham General Hospital.

Our clinical areas include:

Acute Care & Emergency Departments (inc. rotational opportunities for exceptional candidates);

Cardiology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, and Renal Wards;

Care of the Elderly Ward (attracts a 7% enhancement, see info below);

Stroke & Neurology Units (attracts a 7% enhancement, see info below);

General and Specialist Surgical Wards;

Trauma & Orthopaedic Wards (inc. our exciting new rotational programme);

Theatres & Recovery (inc. opportunities to rotate between teams);

Intensive Care Units;

…and many other areas!

Our Registered Nurses make a real difference to patients’ lives. Whether you are providing skilled nursing care or undertaking advanced clinical tasks, all the while you will be providing continuing compassionate care and support. You will be on hand to ensure that the ward or department runs smoothly and that patients receive all the care and support they need. You will find that it’s a role that is incredibly rewarding.

Then we would welcome applications from Student Nurses who are due to qualify in September 2019. The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 10th March 2019. Applications for those who qualify in February 2020 will open later this year.
